The Rising Lights Foundation NPC was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it became clear that many small and medium enterprises (SME’s) were unable to access Government and Private sector funding, incentives, donations or grants due to their businesses being statutorily noncompliant.

Small business owners in South Africa often encounter significant obstacles that hinder their growth and success.
